George V Memorial Fountain

House Windsor's George V Memorial Fountain is an outstanding example of great architecture of that era. This monument was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and unveiled by King George V on 23/04/37. It is surrounded by two fountains with low cenotaphs. Each one is shaped like a head. The fountain was originally part the Acre Graveyard. In 1988, it was renovated to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.

It is the most famous statue in Windsor. The fountain was dedicated King George V (the son of Edward VII, Alexandra of Denmark). The royal house of Gotha and Saxecoburg was renamed to Windsor by the future monarch. George V died in Sandringham House (Norfolk) on 20/01/36. His body was temporarily buried in the Royal Vault under the Albert Memorial Chapel, while a tomb was built.

Duke of Windsor

The duke, duchess and their bodies were buried side-by side in Frogmore on the grounds Windsor Castle. The episode is based largely on historical events. However the show does make some adjustments. In fact, the duke was so sick that he was unable to attend the tea hosted at his home by his wife. However, the duchess was able take part in the proceedings. She was even buried next to her husband.

Edward VIII was born in 1896. He was the son and heir of King George V who became British sovereign in 2010. He served as a military staff officer in World War I and was later the Prince of Wales. He also participated in work programs for unemployed people. His popularity grew during the years preceding his father's accession. He was also a member until his death in 1936.

FAQ

What do actors earn?

Actor pay ranges from $1 million per movie to less than $100,000 for independent films. Actors typically receive between $10,000 and $20,000 per film. Many actors do not get any compensation. It all depends on their success. Some actors are successful and make millions. Others struggle to find work.

What is the difference of a producer and distributor?

The movie is created by a producer. The movie is distributed through a distributor. A distributor can distribute the movie to theaters or other companies such as Netflix. Distributors buy movies directly from producers. Then they sell them to theaters, cable channels, or streaming services.

Distributors have to negotiate with theater owners over where their movies should play. This could mean that certain theaters may charge more for a particular movie than others. Distributors should be able to distribute your movie to as many theaters as possible.

What happens if my movie doesn't do well at the box office

If your film does not do well at the box office, there are many things that could happen.

First, you might decide to change how you market your film.

The script might be rewritten.

Third, you might decide to add new characters.

Fourth, you might decide that some characters should be removed

Fifth, you might decide to cut scenes.

Sixth, and you might decide that it wasn't worthwhile making the film.

Why don’t more filmmakers use crowdfunding platforms like Indiegogo, Kickstarter, and others?

Crowdfunding sites can be great as they let you reach out to potential investors.

Filmmakers don't feel qualified to ask for funds. They feel they need someone else who can vouch for them.

Even though they aren't yet proven to be themselves, they don't believe that anyone should put money into them.

Instead, they spend long hours working on their project, in hopes of someone noticing.

Then they realize that they didn't properly prepare for the launch of their campaign.

Instead of thousands of dollar, they get a handful of donations.

How much does Hollywood make in a year?

A movie takes around $100 million to create. You could make ten movies a month for a decade and still have enough money left to buy a small nation.

You would have your own island, including an airport, a power station, a bank and a post office.

If that doesn’t sound like fun, you must be insane.

Are foreign sales more lucrative than domestic ones for Hollywood?

Yes, but only slightly. Around 17% of total revenue came from foreign sources in 2017. Domestic revenues accounted for 83%.

Over half of the world’s population is found in overseas markets.

This means many people who might never watch a movie at home will still want to see yours.

Why is it called Hollywood?

D.W. Griffith founded the first film industry in California in 1887. It was named for its Los Angeles location, also known as Hollywood at that time.

The name stuck because it was such an exciting place for people to visit. People came from all parts of the country to see what was going on there.

Hollywood is still a big part of our culture. Movies, television shows and music videos are all part of our culture. We call them all "Hollywood."
